Under the support and encouragement of several academicians and experts, and consent of SYSU, Professor Zhan Jiemin of the Department of Applied Mechanics and Engineering, the School of Engineering, SYSU, cooperated with Professor Li Yok-sheung of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, founded an international journal “Engineering Applications of Computational Fluid Mechanics”at the beginning of 2007. Prof. Li and Prof. Zhan are the editors. Professor and Academician Zhuang Fenggan of Chinese Academy of Science and Professor Chen Yaosong of Peking University being the advisory editors. Recently, this journal has been included in Science Citation Index (SCI, ISI Web of Knowledge).
