Recently, the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and The Fourth People’s Hospital of Shenzhen (Futian People’s Hospital) was held in Futian Hall of Futian District Government. The signing of the agreement symbolized that the cooperation between the two hospitals has entered a substantive phase. Liu Qingsheng, Secretary of the CPC Futian District Committee; Yang Hong, District Mayor; Miao Ning, Deputy District Mayor; Yan Churong, Secretary of the Party Committee of The First Affiliated Hospital; and Xie Canmao, Vice President of The First Affiliated Hospital attended the ceremony.

According to the agreement, The First Affiliated Hospital will make full use of its edge in talent and technology to offer all-round assistance to The Fourth People’s Hospital of Shenzhen in medicine, teaching, research and especially key disciplines according to its development needs. It will also establish a dual referral system to promote the overall development of The Fourth People’s Hospital of Shenzhen.
