May 5th, Wang Ruijie, Secretary of Monetary Authority of Singapore visited Lingnan College with his party. Professor Chen Ping, Vice-president of Lingnan College, Professor Lu Jun, Head of the financial department, Professor Wang Xi, Head of the International Business Department and Mr. Wang Ruijie with his party had in-depth communication on the economic development trends of the world and China's future. The two sides exchanged views on the future trend of world economy, financial system, resource allocation, the adjustment of RMB exchange rate, and hot money inflowing into China.

It is learned that the Monetary Authority of Singapore is Singapore's central bank, which is also a comprehensive regulatory authority extending its regulations on banking, insurance and capital markets. Mr. Wang Ruijie is currently the Secretary of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, administering the Monetary Authority of Singapore's policies and operations.
